Palace tend to try to play football, so should be a good game. I can't Palace doing the bus parking like Man U and Newcastle last night. Good time to get those potential banana skin games out of the way without a CL match plonked inbetween. Good time to get Burnly as well as they'll be well worn out from their recent escapades. I'm not a fan of any particular team, I just love great football, that City are providing in abundance and it's impossible to take one's eye's off them. Experienced manager (easily the best in the world along with Conte for getting the best out of players) who is only just starting to get his blueprint embedded. These guys really seem to be buying into his philosophy. Munich never did for some reason and blew it in a big way as they'll never get a coach like him again. From an outside POV I think this team is only 65 to 70% there from where Pep wants to take them. That's the bad news for the rest. Another season or two and I think we're looking at another Ajax 1970's/Milan late 80's early to mid 90's caliber. I love watching a work in progress and City have the money to ward off the vultures (in fact, take the vulture's players, in a total role reversal for English clubs). Must be killing the red half lol. They went and got an aging anti-football, bus parking whinger who leaves bad vibes wherever he goes to make a mess out rebuilding their clueless team. What on earth were they thinking? Pep knocked the moaner from pillar to post in Spain, bar one season, what made them think that would change in England? Comedy gold, my friends, comedy gold. Nothing more satisfying than seeing Utd fans bleating how hard done by they feel after cheating their way to success under Ferguson.
