I think today’s game is a good assessment of our season so far.
Times brilliant & at times very poor.

Issues in order for the season & game today.

1. Biggest problem not taking our chances
2. We have had major players injured
3. Absolutely no luck all season with the bounce of the ball.
4. Need a dm and striker ASAP. Can’t live without fern & cant live with Jesus
5. Pep set us up wrong today & on occasions. We are the chasing club we don’t rest our best players. We win today with Kev & Aguero.
6. A bit of arrogance with some players.
7. Consistency with all players needs to improve. Sterling, fern, Laporte & Edison the only consistent players.

No way we should of lost to Chelsea or Palace today we should of been out of sight at half time in both games.

If we want to keep the title we need to be more ruthless! Simple

Shipping 3 goals to a team that'd only scored 14 all season previously didn't make your list? Not taking our chances came in higher than that?

Not bothered. We’re not entitled to win every game against lesser opponents, there are people on here who should bear that in mind. Some on here are starting to sound like the rags and dippers.

If we win it from here it’ll be all the more painful for Liverpool, which would be brilliant.

Forgot about the away one but have just checked and I was right.. same as today Leicester won 1-3 at ours.

Not that it matters that was excusable as they won the league and were on course to make history whilst Palace are now on course to stay up.

They played 5 in midfield and doubled up on our wingers. Zaha didn't get beyond the edge of the centre circle in our half until we scored. They had 4 giants in defence against our forward players. They mopped up pretty much everything. Their tactics were spot on, and we weren't quick enough getting at them. Too many side ways and backwards passes, but then their tactics forced us to play that way.

The way they nullified our wingers was pretty impressive but we just continued to try the same thing over and over. Lost count of the amount of cross field passes and crosses into the box.

Okay here goes this needs saying. Atmosphere absolutely shocking and just expecting us to win. Comments on here of 4-0 and 5-0. Not suprisingly much better when our backs are up against it. City are back, City are back was sung. Tuesday proved Stonesy was not a defensive midfielder but we decide to play him again to rotate! You do NOT rotate your best players.
Anyone think the dippers will rotate Van D and Salah when the play us thought not. Whilst Pep has been fantastic this result was down to him. For those criticising Walker anyone ever questioned his role this season? Anyone questioned why he does not attack the left back. Orders! Pep changed his role this season and it has shown. I can understand rotation like for like but playing Stones in midfield is a piss take especially as it did not work on Tuesday! I gave it my all today even at 3-1 trying to get behind the lads but most had given it up in the East Stand. It might actually not end up being a bad thing as city fans with backs against the wall are very supportive. Raz been very poor last two games and Bernardo not been himself since injury. Lacking leadership at the moment throughout. Interesting disagreements on the bench between Arteta and Pep. I hope we stop rotating with players in incorrect roles and get back to playing to our strengths. Where has the passion gone and the intensity? Ah well only 4 hours until I get get home :) Onto Leicester which just became a must 3 points !

I have seen the word “arrogant” in a number of posts today. I find it really hard to believe that any City fan thinks Pep’s approach to the game is arrogant. Despite his extraordinary ability and winning record I always find him to be remarkably humble and respectful of other teams.

You suggest some players were a bit arrogant. Who do you have in mind ?

Stones not a DM. Not now. Not ever. Pep too slow to bring stars back after injury. Has been doing it for a long time and it is slightly arrogant. kev should have started with Augero up front.
A fit Salah would not be left to stew on the bench.

Taking our chances has been our biggest problem all season. Not only does it put pressure on the team it allows the other team to build confidence.

We have had games we should of scored at least 6/7. After 20 mins today we could of been 3 up with better decisions.

I personally think the problem with the defence is pep changing it too much and walkers form is so poor. He’s been at fault for so many goals recently inc 2 today.

Mahrez was poor. We should have left Sterling on. I can see why we made the change but it didn't work. Really missed De Bruyne and Silva. Sergio was so slow and easy to mark.

I think we will win the league but for the first time now the pressure is on us. There are so many games left that we can afford to draw at home to Liverpool but we must not lose. We just need to go again.

Football can throw games like that at you and we panicked today.
