Crystal Palace (H) - Post-Match Thread

First the postives,we are still better off than we were this time last season,And we all know how that turned out.

This game to me had "A one of those Days "feel about it right from kick off.And that is exactly how it turned out.

Still I thought our VAR disallowed goal was seriously harsh.

I thought Palace game plan was spot on,Playing with a well marshalled back 8 at times, and frustrate the shit out of us.Then hit on the counter.Viera fully deserved this today.

KDB form has become seriously alarming.

We fight another day Blues.

Now lets hopefully watch the Rags go from crisis,to crisis.

It’s been a bad week… we get a week like this every season. Not a time for us to slate players we know who aren’t putting a shift in and probably they know to. Keep it together lads and lasses we’ll come good .

* might be worth a punt on brereton from Blackburn in January nothing to lose there for me . *

As bad as City were, ref too, if Foden's kneecap had been onside before Jesus scored we'd have won that today.

We could have kicked on this summer by signing players to improve the team. Mainly a striker. But we didn't.
And now we are reaping what we sowed.
I think we are heading for a similar season we had in 2019-2020.
playing fern at cb after kompany left springs to mind. The club get most things right but at times they are incredibly naive.

The Boys in Blue didn’t give in they fought to the end. Thank you City. You did what you could against cheating refs and Southern softies!
The referee won that with VAR and CP time wasting goalkeeper’s willing assistance!
