Stones played his way back into the team, and that was before he came on.
Maybe a chance to give Palmer more minutes. Cant do worse than KDB at present.the midweek game is bigger than the derby
pep should play more of the quality youth players we have at home vs games like palace just to fresh it up and rest the big players. we just look so leggy and dare i say slow and KDB is not the player he has been for 4 or 5 years
its a puzzle to what is wrong with KDB ? is it a injury problem that is taking a long time to get over or is it just burn out and got nothing in the tank. what i will say is we have B.silva gundogan foden all good enough for KDB to take a break of a couple of weeks and lets see what that does for him
Fair assessment. For me though the key was Ederson letting the half hit shot in which made it uphill. KDB is so off the boil, the tea's gone cold.Aside from the ref also sticking it to us, we were our own worst enemy.
Laporte started as he meant to go on, which thankfully means Stones will now come back in to the fold.
No use keeping the pitch wide if you don't have anyone in the middle or at top to make it work today.
Palace forced us to play the extra pass out wide and doubled up on being aggressive on Jesus and Phil.
Cancelo and Walker were poor, as was Grealish, who seemingly wants to play safe and has had all spotenitity removed by Pep's demands.
We have a paint my numbers system, so it only needs to go a man down and the whole thing falls apart.
Pissed off with the decisions against us and thought it strange Pep waited five minutes to introduce Stones.
Jesus was our best player and felt we needed to try and get him and Bernie all the ball more in second half to try and at least commit Palace a bit more.
Eddie was ropey for the goal, as it was a scuffed shot.
We move on, Liverpool dropping points today was also a surprise and pressure now on with United to come.
Really? That's spooky if correct and it's HalloweenOur last 60 Saturday 3pm kick offs stretching back to January 2015:

7 Draws
2 Losses
BOTH defeats and one of the draws to Palace…
Pitch invasion, police horses. Those were the days! But didn't we win the following week? That was the worst game I have been to since Notts County away when we were 3-0 down at half time, 1985 I think!
Don't even really need to sell anyone. We still have the 150m we supposedly saved from the Kane bid.Yeah spot on. We could get still get good money for Sterling and use it to buy a proper goal sorer.
Thanks StatoOur last 60 Saturday 3pm kick offs stretching back to January 2015:

Goal down in first half is not so bad but a man down is a different story .Fair assessment. For me though the key was Ederson letting the half hit shot in which made it uphill. KDB is so off the boil, the tea's gone cold.
Never mind though, looking forward to the next 2 huge games. Would happily settle for a win v Brugges and point at Rags
I thought he was taking too many touches on the ball when we were pressing for an equaliser in the later stages. He needed to move it on quicker before the space was closed. One of our better players out there today though.Rodri was quality again today, he is becoming a big player for us.
True. But the scruffy goal gives Palace so much more confidence.Goal down in first half is not so bad but a man down is a different story .
Don't even really need to sell anyone. We still have the 150m we supposedly saved from the Kane bid.
Love a good stat! Would be good to know if those three matches happened after we had a midweek fixture & they didn’t. Still think when we’re up against a team with an identity, with an intelligent coach who has a full week to prepare their team, we find it tough - because it is. Thankfully the rags also have a mid week game this week - not that I’d class them as a team with an identity. Our last 60 Saturday 3pm kick offs stretching back to January 2015:

Gone fishing?KDB is like that prize strawberry that has gone from showstopper to rotten fruit in the blink of an eye! It happens and we need to realise his days are numbered. He, Sterling and Mahrez now offer a combined zero and need moving on. Lean years ahead I feel.
Agree 100%. Meant that we do not need to sell before we buy.sterling must be sold and his place taken by a new striker
i would take £50million right now for sterling and go and sign haaland in jan
even it takes a crazy bid for dortmund to sell i would still pay it. knowing he has a buy out in the summer of £67million or something like that. we just can not leave it for somebody else to steel him from under our noses
offer dortmund £100million plus add-ons right now even ask if they fancy sterling
