It’s a good line up but with 6 days rest since the last game wouldn’t you think Pep would play essentially the same side that put on a masterclass against Villa.

So back to 4-3-3 then. Thought he would have continued with the back 3 to really smoothen it out so that we can switch to it when needed in the big games. Seems odd he’s gone with Cancelo and mendy when we don’t appear to be using wing backs.

Disappointed to see Mahrez dropped, felt he was undroppable in current form, and Bernardo pushed out wide where he’s half the player. can see us struggling to break them down with that side unless they expected us to go with a back 3 and we catch them off guard early on.

Seems like rotating for the sake of it to keep everyone happy. Nothing wrong with it necessarily, thats the downside of stacked squad.

Sterling doesn't deserve to start ahead of Mahrez, just playing favourites against a dangerous team.
