Crystal Palace (N) | FA Cup Final | Post Match Thread

Walker did it all the time. It's a decoy to try give a foden some space to drive. Obviously in a perfect world that right back can also cross.
Walker's alright at crossing and cut backs. Not amazing, but much better than your average CB. Did it all the time for Spurs, England and us in the early days.

Only 9 1/2 more years of disinterested Earling and his play every week if fit contract
He is disinterested since the ball isn't going to him despite having 79% possession. Perhaps a change in style of play that focuses a bit more on counter-attack, takes more risks and not afraid to lose possession will help him. ?

I commented a few weeks ago that one of the weaknesses In Marmy's game was his lack of ability in one on one situations. So if he was the designated penalty taker whose bright idea was that
Our non league at best standard set piece coach

Haaland is bullied too often now and hides behind defenders. He stopped making those runs across the box he did in his first 12 months. Their front 3 of Sarr, Eze and Mateta were much better than our front 3. Haaland should watch how Mateta put himself about today.
I would swap their 2 wingers with our unthreatening, non scoring ones in a heartbeat
All this talk of buying midfielders and fullbacks for next season, wont mean shit unless we sort our non existant wingers out.

I wish when the wingers got the ball they would fire in crosses, high or low, something may happen. This pass, pass, cut back and pass is like watching Arsenal years ago trying to walk the ball into the goal.

Whatever it was, he shouldn't have said it. He's an embarrassingly poor loser. Made himself look like a twat.
Show me a good looser and I’ll show you a looser He has said anything in public and will be gracious I’ve no doubt this was a private conversation that was dropped in on by tv

If we don't qualify for the CL, Pep shouldn’t just walk, he should run. He's been clueless for the last 12 months.
Like Foden and Haaland, does anyone actually believe that Pep will rediscover his mojo next season? I certainly don't see it.

I believe it!

Honestly, I do.

If Pep was at say Bayern or Barcelona right now, and had the season he did, we would all still want him to come here. Same with foden or haaland.

Greats have offs, they are still great.

Club needs a shake up. I said earlier this year that NEXT season is the rebuild. THIS season is just realising we’ve lost our way.

Won’t win anything for a few years in my opinion.
