Well I hope this doesn't mean Pellers will feel inclined to play Dzeko against Chelsea.

Yaya and Dinho play every game so no reason Aguero(who never plays a full 90) and Negredo to play both games. It's still early in the season. We just had the international break where many of our players didn't play at all so MP should be able to play his best 11 for both.

Elm, Dzagoev and Doumbia are key players so that's a boost if they aren't playing, however they are still dangerous.

Out of those I know Akinfeev, Berezutsky, Tosic and Honda

Ignashevich is experienced at international level for Russia, Schennikov was a prospect a few years ago but seems to have stalled, Wernbloom is a DM and Musa is the danger man from what I've seen of him, lively player.

More than confident of a win now ive seen the teams, CSKA without their best three players.

And as for the pitch, it looks better than anything ive ever played on so shouldnt have much trouble with it.

Would love the win but a draw would be far from the end of the world with two home games remaining. Always good to put down a marker for the team's confidence though. Hopefully the players haven't been putting too much stock in this shit pitch talk and feel they already have their excuses.

Why is that suddenly a bit thin in the middle? It's the same formation we have had for all matches with 2 so called wide players.

Moscow is rag central, my dad's lived there 10 years and he's watched derbies (even recent ones) in moscow sports bars and there's been 3 blues and hundreds of russian rags.

In their defence City haven't really featured in European football till recently and especially not against Russian sides.

Surprised at least 1 of Jovetic and Dzeko isn't starting. Interesting to see who starts against Chelsea now. I don't feel confident playing with so many attackers away from home in general but especially in the champs league. Is there another top team that plays with 2 up and 2 behind? Would feel a lot more confident if we had another body in midfield or at the very least Milner playing out wide. Saying that, we should be too strong for CSKA. Go at them and hit them hard first 20 minutes and we could have it sewn up by halftime.
