currently no trams to etihad

Nice of the club to confirm that KO wouldn't be delayed an hour before scheduled. A nice big fuck you to all those stuck in traffic - still, you already had our money.

We got there 22 minutes after the game kicked off!! And we were only coming from Eccles, heaven help those coming from further afield. Why couldn't they delay the kick off for 15 minutes when they must have known that Manchester was gridlocked? It was all over the BBC and the AA traffic map was just showing total red. There were hundreds of people still trying to get in, there were still queues at the turnstiles. Plus they were still stopping people and searching their bags! Thank goodness I wasn't carrying a bag tonight because if they'd tried to search mine they would have got a mouthful and, as you know I don't swear!!

Whose decision is it to delay kick off? The club or the referee?
Think it's the police who decides.

I don't know what it takes for any sort of common sense to permeate our club at times. There was total traffic chaos all over Manchester and the trams were not running to the stadium.

Like you say, they''ll take our money, and we pay a premium these days, but they'll do jack shit to make sure we see as much of the game as possible.

I remember a couple of years ago when a hurricane was hitting Manchester. The Police were advising everyone to stay indoors but the club still wanted the game to go ahead. I don't think it was cancelled until bits of the stadium began falling off and progranmme stalls were rolling through the car park like tumbleweed!

Took me 1/2 an hour from Hulme Asda to where I normally park, luckily I always aim to be in Manchester by 4pm for night games after many recent bitter experiences. With 170 miles to come, I've moved to using the train for most games, but not night games, normally its even worse coming home from night games, but tonight was roadwork free for once, and I was home just after 1, the earliest in about 3 years.

The jams on the motorways were ridiculous. I spoke to a steward after the game and he told me that 11 Everton coaches were expected but 2 never made it.

It used to be that all evening matches kicked off at 7.30pm but they stopped that some time ago. I think the time has to come to ditch the 7.45's. I prefer the earlier finish but these days the traffic problems occur all too often.
