This is it, Bob. Yer can stay with a supplier for decades and then find out that 'new' customers get a better deal than those who have stayed through the thin and thinner. They get nowt. In CorporateLand dictionaries the world 'loyalty' has been surgically removed. They seem to be embarrassed by its inclusion.

Bollocks thread. I've just had a look on the website and was sad enough to count up the number of times "loyalty points" was used as opposed to "customer points".

I counted up 30 (before I got bored) times for the term "loyalty points" as seen here:

I could only find "customer points" once:

At a ratio of atleast 30:1, I think it's fair to say we can keep calling them loyalty points despite people trying to use it to pick holes in the club and for fake outrage.
