what a laugh that is, took me 50 minutes to speak to an human being.

all i wanted to do was confirm i was on the cup scheme, people wonder why there are empty seats at cup games, well for those who cannot get to the ground, spending half a day listening to a repeated message is little short of soul destroying.

the most important aspect of match going is still as shabby as 20 years ago, ie ordering tickets.

Im just gonna add I rang the ticket office this morning for my UEFA cup tickets, off the phone within two minutes. Was dreading ringing up after some of the storys recently but they were fine.

i went after work yesterday and everybody was okay, i know it's not the same as phoning but i refuse to pay two pound booking fees for a ticket that cost £15 when it's going to be empty and the away leg costs only £5. rant over

50 minutes on an 087 number that will have cost you a bit??

I don't think it's the employees fault though.

My season card turned up without a stamp - fortunately the postie delivered it. My Dad's though wasn't delivered and he didn't want to pay to take delivery of an envelope he didn't recognise as could have been junk mail - totally understandable in my point of view.

I understand that the ticketing has been taken in house this year and the staff had to post everything out. Whilst they obviously should have put a stamp on every envelope the fact that there were so many season cards and so few people meant that it was open to error.

I would assume a franking machine is used as with any other decent sized business rather than stamps.

Well maybe they didn't go through the franking machine but as the envelopes were handwritten maybe they should have had a stamp - for security purposes they didn't have any reference to City on the envelopes?!?

I got a letter yesterday asking me to call due to being in colin bell level 3. tried this morning on hold 087 number for 20mins nothing, tried again this afternoon, nothing, sent e-mail, still nothing, some things never change.............
