I'm a diagonal man myself. Horizontal cuts are just dull. #diagonalcuts

Diagonal if you're going to put pâté on slices of baguette or something, go diagonal, but if you're making a sandwich from a baguette horizontal is the only way forward. Only the froggy bastards would go against that. #frenchsurrendermonkeyspaphos-mcfc said:I think it's a french thing. Cutting a baguette like this will give you just enough bread for a sandwich.

Never cried at a wedding but I do love Book of Mormon:stony said:A study by Hovis in 2003 concluded that 84% of men who cut their bread diagonally were also fans of stage musicals and cried at weddings.

I'm one of the 16% who hate musicals and weddings (but cried at my own wedding when I realised what I was doing).

Diagonal is a much better crust to soft bread ratio. Especially so when toasted.
Use a teacake and don't cut it.BlueBearBoots said:How can you make a chip butty with diagonally cut bread? Pfft
