A young lad at work has been seeing a bird for a while, and she's into tattoo's so the dopey fucker has had a $600.00,sleeve on one arm.
Me and my mate distinctly remember him slagging off tattoo's a while back and every time we mention it he goes very quiet.
My own was pretending to like opera and paying a small fortune to attend a season at the Sydney Opera House, just to impress a woman I had met at the time.
Needless to say it didn't work out,but only after I'd shelled out a fortune and had been bored, come on who hasn't done the same.

Bought a birthday pressie for a women at work I fancied in the 80's (the decade, not her age ;)
It was about £6 - £7 but I peeled off a sticker for an item in the shop costing £30 odd and once outside, peeled the original price sticker off and replaced it with the pinched one.
She made a comment later saying that she doubted my pressie cost that much and suggested I was a tight git. Which was correct, of course. No result..... :(

impress like act up..... if they don t like me they can fuck off. i don t expect things from them either!

computer or skydives were the only things i have given as pressies... but they are just cool gifts. i not materialistic or false enough to pretend i m someone else.

Impressed the missus by booking a honeymoon to Rome n Venice.

Only when we came to pay the hotel bill in Rome n the card didnt work did i panic a bit.

Turned out that i hadnt realised how much the wedding had cost n when i looked at the bank balance hadnt seen that little minus sign alongside the balance

Just be yourself. I can tell when a girl is trying too hard or being false. That's a turn off for me.

Personally, the biggest mistake I ever made was ordering a Vindaloo as we went for an impromptu Ruby at gone Midnight after our first night out together. I couldn't eat it because it was so hot and the beer I'd drank beforehand wasn't reacting well either. My merry logic said I could impress her by eating such a hot dish...
