Speaks for itself, but I am on about idiot moments but not I dumped this girl/lad stuff.

... right I'm first. After half an hour of my smoke alarm beeping every minute I went to inspect it. Pulled it down and it was wired up not batteries so I just thought fuck....... me, my burnt and bent scissors ended up in my beroom.

Similar...

Had a broken plug socket with a broken plug in it. A metal knife will shift that.

Hurts doesn't it.

Next thing I knew was the girl from next door flat knocking on my door asking 'McManus my telly and lignts ain't do you know anything about electricity?'

The shame hurt more I think.

After 18 hours on the piss we got back to the hotel to find a message telling us to fly home ASAP. We agreed to get 2 hours kip and go. 6 hours later one of her majesties Nimrods was on autopilot off the east coast of the states with all 7 crew members fast asleep!

We learnt about flying from that.

Flying to Brisbane to see a girl I had been keeping in contact with (we'd had a one night stand a few months before). Long story short, she kicked me out of her house after a night and never spoke to me again. I had 3 days to kill in Brisbane...there's nothing to do there.

I guess this is drink related but, having been on the lash with a few mates in Bury I decided to get a taxi home up to Chesham (if you don't know Bury that well, it's just half a mile from the town centre). Half an hour later I'm in Bolton town centre at 12 O'clock at night having just paid the driver £10 thinking I'm right outside my house.

Not a clue what happened.

Got married at 20 and my first wife was 17.Lasted 11 months honestly. Our daughter is now aged 41,a very successful career lady and have two wonderful grand daughters.
Daft !! Probably ! But have now been married for a second time and for 38 years, with a Grandson who I adore.
However, the whole family, from my first marriage to now are brilliant with one another and its like a long lost family who never knew one another.
I have been very fortunate and lucky that what happened some 40+ years ago,has and is forgotten and forgiven !!
Am I lucky or just plain daft ??

My mate had a Toyota Celica parked in my garage and asked me to drop it at his.
I aquaplaned it at the end of his street and crashed it into his neighbours brand new car,the Celica had run out of rego and was therefore uninsured.
Not my best Saturday morning if I'm honest.
