To be fair, I doubt it would a full £40m in cash, it would probably be £20-23m + Bayor.

Not a one trick pony. Just not consistently effective enough to be shelling out 40 million quid on.

Everyone was raving in the media about Bale and Parker. But as I recall one team got relegated and the other won nowt. I have a feeling Spurs players have won numerous player of the year awards. Lineker, Allen, Ginola etc

While the team they play for hasn't won the league since way before us.

And considering Bellamy is just as, if not more, injury prone than Bale, its quite laughable really.
