He just doesnt look like a national horse. You want something that travels and jumps and Junior doesnt.
As for the Denman chase, it was clear to see Geraghty lost the race. Long Run is way overrated and shouldnt be fav for the Gold Cup. Will be on Burton Port if he runs and already got Synchronized big e/w so hope he turns up.

Have a watch of last year's Kim Muir mate.

Travelled, jumped better than anything and won by the biggest distance at the whole festival.

My only criticsm of his jumping is he can be low and fast, rather than with plenty of air. Having said that, the national fences have never been easier.

He cant go through the national fences though. If he goes low at normal ones then he stand no chance at Aintree. Obviously not every National winner was a world class jumper but 95% are. If he does manage to run a place then it will be through his class, not his jumping.
Synchronized is in the National and if he bypasses the Gold Cup for it then i will be on big. Stays all day and is a grade 1 winner. Not many National horses are Grade 1 winners.

Can't believe that Treacle is hovering around the 2nd favorite mark at 16/1 for The Grand National. Got a tip for him two races ago (2nd at 20/1) and he was 3rd last Sunday at 33/1 in the Hennessy Gold Cup in which he was supplemented for the sum of 16k. Don't think he will drift out again......I might have missed the boat on the 25's available the other day ....fook !!! :-(

So the more I read the more I don't fancy junior. I love the horse but head over heart so who is the national winner?

If it runs Chicago Grey

Chicago Grey wont stay that far imo plus he throughs in the odd iffy jump and again cant get away with that in the national.

Some good racing out there today!

Wish i was off and not at work but a week before payday so glad to be here and not throwing money at the bookies.

Still done a couple though

read a post on here few weeks ago, someone tipped up

lockantanks....it ran into second that day coming from the rear.

just to say it runs today at lingfield 2.50 trading arond 7s.

maybe worth another look

Paco Jack in Gowran today at 4.25 last time over the hurdles won well with Townend on board that day and I had it at 20/1. Goes today at the moment its 8/1 and with Townend back on it in my view with the weight its carrying has a great chance to win at big odds.
