Update on Junior:

He runs tomorrow in the Grimthorpe. Tom Scu rides.

Going for the win, expecting a very good run.

Much fitter now, and will like the ground more.

Considering he wasnt fit and too much cut in the ground, the fact that he stayed up there until the final straight at Newbury was a big positive.

I'm on him to win.

Good luck to those standing by Junior, but given that Fruity O'Rooney has been scratched,my money will be on West End Rocker,as Alan King seems pretty positive.
Ikorodu Road could run a decent race for Matt Sheppard at a price.
I would imagine Junior going off around 10's,which,in my opinion,is less than generous.

Nooooooo NF way to big my friend, had a good look at this race & if you forget master of the halls last run he would be a big danger..seems a pretty good race for junior to win....anywhere between 5/2 & 4/1 for me.

You may be right mate,we shall see.
I appreciate the last run was a pipe opener,(pardon the pun),but the horse just never travelled.
Even given the change of going,I just can't have him for any money here.
That said,I have been wrong before...

Havnt we all...Must admit your horse could have a bit of value, him & junior only c&d winners

Junior hasn't become a bad horse overnight. There were some good horses in that Kim Muir and he won it by 24 lengths. There were some very good horses at Ascot and he won that by 5 lengths. He came 3rd in a Grade 3 behind Midnight Chase who I think is a fantastic EW shout for the Gold Cup this year.

Horses that don't like the ground don't travel, and he got tired in the straight at Newbury because it was his reappearance. He has blown the cobwebs away now.

FWIW I have it between Junior and West End Rocker as well, its impossible to say Horse X will win in this sort of company, but write Junior off at your peril. Just because I 'tipped' him at Newbury and he failed doesn't make him a bad horse. Plus, I didnt tip him, i just provided the information I had. I tipped him at Cheltenham and Im tipping Backstage this year, but anything else, such as the information today, is just passed on and then my own views added. Always bear that in mind with anything I put on here. I've tipped and failed, we all have, but that's my misgivings as a 'tipser' rather than a reflection on the horse.

If Junior is 10-1 in a 7 runner race, he might not win but personally, i'm all over that.

Think a forecast on the two above is a decent bet as well.

Edit: Forecast odds from ATR: Forecast: 5/2 West End Rocker, 7/2 Junior, 4/1 Benny Be Good, 6/1 Mac Aeda, 13/2 Neptune Equester, 10/1 Ikorodu Road, 14/1 Pentiffic

Which I reckon is about right.
