I really like Ninetieth Minute for the Irish National tomorrow, currently at 12-1. Well weighted, in good form, won last time out and was a big winner for me at 15-1 at the Cheltenham Festival a couple of years back.
Already backed into 17-2 favourite

Come on guys this is meant to be a friendly thread, if you want a row take it to the other 3000 mancini/Balo out threads :)

Your points have all been made about this horse, let it slide now.

Now who the fuck is going to win that bumper at Fairyhouse, looks a cracking race in the making, can Don Cossack come from an impossible position again ?

I think it will be best suited by a step up in trip and another horse will out speed him and give him to much to do this time, thinking about Peace in the West (quite apt dont you think lol) 12-1 got to have a chance of a place at worst.

It was just a light hearted joke regarding the horse..

Anyway cant see Don cussack getting beat and 6/4 looks value to me.

I know but he wont htink it funny will he :)

Do you think he has the speed to stay in touch this time against better horses the horse he beat has only won 1 in his next 3 races.

over 20f I would snap the 6/4 up no problems at all but just think he will be out paced but stay on to late.

Think he will be a lot closer with the ground being good..

And then press the button and wooooooosh..

Hopefully .

Well I have took the 14's on offer on Peace in the west and hope i'm right lol

Gone for Start me Up in the Irish national, same owner has the top weight and I'm thinking he is compressing the weights a bit and keeping this horse at 10-6 not a bad weight at all.

Alfie Sherrin was impressive at Cheltenham and have done this as well.

Davy Russell in todays Star has been signing the praises of Teelin Star in the 4.10 at Fairyhouse he said he is one of the most exciting prospects from the point to point scene for a while. He won both his maiden by a distance and then went out and destroyed a field of winners finishing over 15 seconds ahead of the next in the field. That is pretty much unheard of. With Paddy Power it is 4/6 fav. His other selections are.
2.40 Oscars Well
3.10 Dedigout
3.40 Il Fenomemo
5.25 Senior Again
5.55 Mollys Bay
6.25 Don Cossack

Any way my bets today.
Fairyhouse lucky 15.
2.40 Oscars Well
3.10 Dedigout
3.40 Il Fenomeno
4.10 Teelin Star

In the Irish National 4.50
Leanne each way and Aigle Dor each way. Have a feeling Glam Jerry will run a good race today aswell.

Chepstow double 2.15 Black Thunder and 2.50 Back Bob Back

Leighton is the ground def good?

I think it will be soft by the time they race. Its been raining from last night and is still spitting rain now. Not too sure if they watered the track last week because we didnt have much rain for 2 weeks here and the ground would of been too fast for the jumpers. It was good ground yesterday but with the rain I would say good to soft but by the national Soft ground.
