Right got a problem don't expect to get good advice off here but I used to bet and put £5 each on a horse wether 2.50 ew or £5 win I would bet on about 10 a day sometimes. People found out and I've cut down and recently been doing lucky 15s and not winning anything really but before I was doing ok. I don't no what to do either stop, go back to how I was or stay as I am and hope my luck changes anyone got any advice?

Mate everyone goes through runs like that. Its a case of sticking to your limit and dont chase your loses mate. Its hard but when it comes in it great. Lucky 15s I do a lot 1 good winner and you get your money back with the treble the odds on 1 winner. The racing is weird this summer was the worst ever with the weather being shit but now the past week or so we are seeing proper flat conditions which is seeing the quicker horses on good weather winning at big odds due to them getting the conditions they want all the time. So you will see for the next few days the better horses winning.
At the end of the day its your call and no one else can tell you what to do you will soon know yourself and will do what you have to do.
yes your right thanks its just been a horrible week most of the horses I have backed have come second suppose my luck will change. I don't want to stop as I like a bet and I don't put that much on really so not losing too much really

Mate we all have had a few seconds horses getting beaten on the line thats gambling for you lol. I think today there was a number of big price winners in the Scoop 6 as its a big kick in the balls but thats why we love to bet when your on the bigger winners it great but if they are beating the favourite your on its a pain in the arse lol.

I would only endorse Leighton's sound advice as above. There is the old adage of "You have to speculate to accumulate" and their is some truth in that. I have flutter because I find it fun. I stick to my limit and if I am up it goes into the "pot". If the "pot" is up at the end of the week it is a little extra to play with. If it is up "big time" (very rare this summer) then I will take it out of the pot for something not to do with betting or for a rainy day.
If my limit is done... then so am I.
Lucky 15's are good and it does not have to be big stakes especially with one good winner. (Patents and Round Robin can be good if unsure of a fourth nag).

You have an awareness that it could become a problem yorks blue and you appear to be on top of it which is great. Treat the nags as fun mate. Hope it helps.

When a veteran like Brisblu comes out and says its sound advice then its sound advice. Bris has been betting since the old money shillings and farthing and stuff back in the day thats how old Bris is lol.

I know a lot on here do lucky 15's
Personally I think it's a bad bet
You may aswell do a Yankee at 11 bets and increase your stake, are you really bothered about a single return.
Each to their own though.

Agree, I very rarely do a Lucky 15

At treble the odds for 1 winner for me its a good bet. Get a winner of 5/1 and I am up on my 15 euro bet. So in my view its a good worthwhile bet to do.

I know we have had this debate before
I remember saying how much money the bookies make on folk not taking their slips in if they have an odd winner.

Yankees are only worth doing if youre backing short prices. No point in having a 20/1 winner on yankee and getting fuck all back. I do 31s and 63s as on a saturday i probably back around 30-40 horses. On most 63s i would lose only having 1 winner but if you have 5 63s all with one 5/1 winner on you would win more than having 5 heinz's at 5.70.
Also betfred pays 4x the odds for one winner on 31s and 5x the odds for 1 winner on 63s so if you get a 10/1 winner on a 63 you have a 5a back which isnt that bad.

Each to their own but 15, 31s and 63s are good bets if you are backing a lot of horses rather than yankees, canadians and heinzs.
