Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

Of course I can knock Frankel and I have done so over the years. He wasnt tested until he was 4 in a longer distance race. Which for the greatest horse of all time is a bit of cop out in my view. They could of tested him as a 3 year old but couldnt be arsed about it. Greatest miler of all time greatest horse not too sure about that.

Why do they have to test him over longer distances? So in your eyes to be a great great horse you have to run over distances outside what you were bred for? Let me guess Camelot would of beaten him? Look at the form of the horses frankel has beat then compare with Camelot speaks for it's self. I'm only bringing up Camelot because I know you will soon enough.

So for example black caviar in your eyes isn't a great great horse?
Black Caviar is a great horse the greatest sprinter that has won races over 5 , 6 and 7 furlongs. Black Caviar is a sprinter and a top class sprinter.

I'm gona say it mate, if he was Irish you would say best ever.
You know Frankel's breeding is mostly Irish with Gallieo and Kind so it doesnt matter were the horse is from or runs. He could of been tested far more over more than a mile in my opinion. Training might be from the UK. Just think there is a lot of What Ifs with Frankel. I am not doubting that he is the greatest miler of all time but horse not too sure about that. Dont let the British media love affair with the horse go into over drive mate.

Regarding Camelot no I wasnt going to mention him at all. Camelots owners were trying to do something that hasnt been done in years by going for the triple crown.

Just seen this.
The 10 (different) horses that finished 2nd to Frankel have won 7 x G3's, 9 x G2's and 16 x G1's between them. Not too shabby.

Need I say any more?

He is or was the greatest horse ever
By a distance too

It doesnt matter what you think its my opinion if we all had the same opinion on things it would be shit. Still think he should of been tested a lot more. I have hold my hands up and said the greatest miler but as for the rest questionable.
