Didnt he win on bog warrior yesterday?
You really think sir des champs would of won by a mile
Tidal bay came from further behind him to win,and made mistakes.

Bog Warrior won over hurdles and was the best horse in the race. Solwhit was a top horse but hadnt run for 2 years so Bog Warrior was always going to win. Tidal Bay made nowhere near the amount of mistakes SDC made and SDC was only beaten 1/2 length. Maybe Russell's won a few quid for you in the past but anybody can see he's past it.
Actually mate i had the luckiest winner of all yesterday ridden by russell when the mullins horse fell at the last
So he is in my good books :)
We might have to disagree on the lexus,

I was on that aswell, won me a few quid with 2 other winners

I have just had a quick look at the race again, tbf your right regarding sir des champs making more mistakes...

Be interesting if the ground had of been better what flemenstar would of found off the bridle

I dont think Flemenstar is a 3 miler yet. Obviously in Ireland the big wins are in the Lexus and Hennessy so its obvious that they would want to go for them but he'd hack up over 2m-2m4/5 in Ireland and would win his fair share over here if he stayed away from Sprinter Sacre.

I agree with you Niall and Clare Balding :-D

Well i've only been watching/betting/interested in racing for about 5 years now but i must say Sprinter Sacre is the best 2 miler ive seen and possibly the best jump horse. Masterminded was the best when i started watching and it was brilliant to watch him batter everything that came to challenge him especially at Cheltenham. Then came along Finnians Rainbow and Sizing Europe who are very good horses but they even know they wont get anywhere near SS. Sizing being aimed at anything but the top 2 mile chases over here shows that and Finnians was entered in the King George. Partly i think its because of a lack of a top staying chaser as Long Run still has plenty to prove despite what hes already won but nobody will be taking on SS with a chance of winning, unless he doesnt get round

Let him win a champion chase two or three times then we will see how good he is
Must admit one of my fav races the 2 miler
Remember backing pearlyman in the 80's
Viking flagship
Barnbrook again
And one man in the late 90's,all won the champion chase and earned me a few quid
Anyone remember one of jenny pitmans from the 80's Wonder Man ,another one of my favs.

Anyone of us been over to that other gambling thread? Jesus there is some shocking bets on there. People just spunk £10/£20 on 10 team accys with the famous line they all should win! Has anyone ever had a bet and thought nah not gona win.

Sprinter Sacre looks the dogs bollocks. Anyone reckon he will stay any further?
