Just missed a tip at Lingfield Charming won 3/1 so now have £10 sitting there in my account with nothing to do. Any tips for Kempton tonight ? Whatever you give me will be better than I pick because I am rubbish at picking horses.

After the day I've, you stand a better chance than me HP, not tips but here are some picks that I have pulled together.

GL blue.

Island Legend or Diamond Charlie 5.10
George Fenton 6.10
Shauna's Spirit 6.40
Putin or Vale of Lingfield 7.10

Kempton ones I'm having:

1810
Steelcut @11/1

1740

Summer sun @ 9/2

Got EW singles and doubles on them.

A lot of money going on Vermeyen in the last at Kempton. Handicap debut and shrewd yard also Baker on board which is a big positive as he rides Kempton very well.

SS/the blackaeroplane....chasing needs horses like him now the old kings gone dancing.
The Arkel looks tasty,Simonsig and a raider called Arvika Ligeonniere, cant wait to see them run.
Simonsig already odds on for the arkle after winning two small field chases, crazy

Got a feeling if flemenstar really doesnt stay the 3 mile which is up for debate
The ryanair chase or even dropping down to 2 mile and taking on sprinter sacre in the champion could happen.

I agree that a best price of evens for a novice chaser isn't generous, but that run of Simonsig's at Kempton looked pretty impressive, and there aren't that many great two mile beginners around at the moment.
I'm not sure I would be going odds against if I was a bookie!

what about Overturn?.....Mcain after he won today

McCain said: "He'll come back here for the Lightning Novices' Chase (on January 26). What he really wants is two miles and good ground and he'll be a sight to behold."

Reflecting on his performance, McCain said: "He's had a scoot round and he's quickened it turning in - that's Overturn. He jumped straight which was good to see as he had a tendency to go to his right over hurdles but there wasn't a glimpse of it. It was very pleasing.

"The spectacular jumps are great but they're for the wall, you want them to fiddle away, that's the thing that pleased Jason as even when he was wrong he fiddled away. It's another step down the road and it's out of the way.

"The first day of Cheltenham the ground is usually the soft side of good and he can cope with that but he will be a sight to be seen when he's tapping the planks from the moment he jumps off. That's just him, until you jump off and go as quick as you can from the moment you jump off you won't see the best of him.

Here goes then, you've put me on a pedestal;

L15

1.00 Lingfield Six of Clubs 5/2
2.05 Lingfield Half a Sixpence 11/8
6.40 Kempton Shauna's Spirit around 6/1
3.25 Doncaster Gores Island around 4/1

Also keeping an eye on Conquisto 2.15 Doncaster and Red Riverman 1.55 Ludlow an EW double

GL if you are having a punt today.

cheers oddfellows,

i dont care what they say about you i think your alright!

I second that.

Only logged on late but still made a couple quid on Shauna`s Spirit.

Thanks again oddfelllows, I usually log on and here of others having winners.

oddfellows/leighton/cookie monster or anyone else for that matter

any tips for today?

dont be shy oddfellows as i said yesterday still brought a profit for me!

Not tips but these are my first bets for the day on an EW yankee:

Court in Session @ 9/4 - 1310 Catterick
Rose Garnet @ 3/1 - 1335 Wolverhampton
Lively Baron @ 13/2 - 1415 Catterick
Storm Bound @ 13/2 - 1425 Lingfield

The Lingfield race at 1425 has a few who could win it for me so may change my mind. Brown Pete is currently at 6/1 and could be worth a look.

Its got really cold overnight here in Catterick so expecting a couple of shock results today at this meeting.
