Daily Horse Racing \ Tipping thread

I backed the 4 on the previous page at the odds I posted.
Laid the 2 runners to double stakes today to get my ante post money back on the 4 of them including the 2 NR's. Not a bad return on D.O.W. Backed at 42.8, laid at 10 (effectively 20) to account for the NRs.

A real bonus was I backed (and layed) the Pricewise horse, Trading Leather. A nice bonus to see 2 x £25 free bet refunds from Baldy and Billy Hills for it finishing 2nd.

Been nice if Al Kazeem could have created history, but that's racing.

It was some price the other day d.o.w to trade at 42/1
Especially after the sp price today

I really didn't expect the front two in the betting to run stinkers.

The strange thing is I was prompted by this thread, so went to check the price on Camelot. It was trading at 17, yet it's price was only 16/1 on the high street. On that basis I left it alone.

The four I posted were all significantly shorter on the high street. Just thought it was a decent trading opportunity if they went to post.

I'll give you that one Leighton

Cookie I wasnt on Declaration Of War today sadly I went with Treading Leather. I just knew that Al Kazeem would find it tough to do it today. Real speed in the race today and it showed AL Kazeem found it hard. Interesting to hear Joe after the race saying when Al Kazeem beat him last time out on Declaration Of War he had the worst race on him and never gave him a chance to win. I thought too many races so quickly but it won it snug in the end.

I had 3 seconds today so I was a bit like just my luck not 1 winner at York. Yet in Ireland I had 2 winners.
