Ryan Moore and Richard Hughes are off the mark again
Here comes summer.

Haha it was a day for the mud larks. I just hope this years will see a decent racing on the flat. Think the champion jockey for the year could well be interesting to see the market.

Betting from Paddy Power
Richard Hughes
evens
down
8/11
Ryan Moore
5/2
up
11/4
William Buick
6/1
Silvestre De Sousa
13/2
up
7/1
Graham Lee
14/1
Paul Hanagan
20/1
Kieren Fallon
50/1
Joe Fanning
50/1
James Doyle
66/1
Jamie Spencer
66/1
Daniel Tudhope
100/1

I just think some big prices for some big riders. 11/4 for The Moody Ryan Moore isnt a bad bet if he stays injury free as always he will pick up some big spare rides. Also Buick is over priced at 6/1 but might lack the horses to compete with Moore this year. Bigger prices Kieren Fallon @ 50/1 one of the strongest riders in a finish is a big price if he wants to go for a crack at the title. Graham Lee @ 14/1 too a bit like Buick might not get enough rides to have a chance of the title but he has been impressive since moving to the flat. Finally Jamie Spencer 66/1 is big and also has linked up with Sheikh Fahad to be there retainer jockey also picks up rides for others too might be a big 1 but like others already mentioned might at this moment not have the horses to win the title this year. Even though I will miss the jumps roll on the flat and good fast ground hopefully.

Fair play on that Niall. I just felt that Hayley (Turner) owed me a result! Even in a three horse race. Hehe.
If it all went well then Bispham Green to bump it slightly up.

Impressed with Dubai Hills. Steady all the way.

Well we now know Frankels not firing blanks.

Its seems likely Black caviar will run at ascot and then possibly be covered by Frankel - what a horse that could be.

Was listening to this interview by peter moody on the sunday forum this morning
Frankel pumping black cavier.........WOW!

Black Caviar team eyes Ascot and Frankel

The trainer of Black Caviar has revealed the record-breaking mare could be heading back to competitive action at Ascot in 2013, prior to a potential mating with Frankel.

Peter Moody thought the seven-year-old had run her last race after she only edged the Diamond Jubilee Stakes last year. For a horse who has gone 24 races unbeaten, it was not a top drawer display.

However, Black Caviar's recent explosive showing in the William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley testified to an improvement in form and fitness, and Moody says the owners want to return to Ascot to show fans the real Black Caviar.

"On the Sunday post-Ascot last year, I was resigned to the fact she'd run her last race, but it's amazing how she's returned," Moody told At The Races.

"She probably hasn't been this sound for three seasons or so and the way she's going about her racing, never say never - there has been quite a concerted push towards the fact she may head back to Ascot again this year.

"My mindset is that there's definitely some unfinished business, as there is no doubt you didn't get to see the best of her. I've got no doubt I could present her in better shape, but I believe there are a lot more options for her here and they're a lot more valuable monetary-wise.

"Australian racing really deserves her, but the feeling I am getting from the owners is that they would very much like to come again [to Ascot]."

Moody says Black Caviar could run both the King's Stand Stakes and the Diamond Jubilee if she returns to Ascot, while a meet-up with the retired Frankel could also be on the agenda.

"There is a strong concerted push for her to be bred to Frankel, which is something I do strongly support," Moody said. "If she came to Ascot and ran in June, she would then remain there and be covered by Frankel before returning to Australia.

"I joked about it previously, but I don't think it would be a silly mating. Physically they are quite well matched and it would certainly create a lot of interest - a colt or a filly by Frankel out of Black Caviar."

Thoughts tonight with JT McNamara paralysed after a fall at Cheltenham Festival!

Horrible news if not unexpected. On the plus side I heard an interview with a jockey who had the same injury and he is back walking ,these guys are hard as nails and generally very fit so fingers crossed for the lad.

Bloody hell run two races at ascot? Now that is a risk! I layed her last year and came so close to a big pay day! Do I dare do the same again?

Last time I thought this hurricane fly won the champion hurdle! Hmmm..
