Just watching Pep’s post match presser.

He was asked what he thought of Olmo and whether he would be transferred for a lot of money.

Pep replied he was a brilliant player, he wasn’t sure on the money, but “hopefully” a solution could be found that was best for Dani, and best for Zagreb...

His pace and directness could be exactly what we need. Especially if Sané goes. I remember Pep having a word with him on the pitch after the home leg, too.

doesn't he play as an attacking mid ?, if so we had a better player in that position yesterday and he is about 13 years old, foden outshone everyone bar gabby(hattrick) last night

nope, nothing in Pep+s words about him gave me any hint he is interested. Similar to when he was asked about Grealish. He is just trying to be polite.

Olmo came through the Barca ranks and is Spanish as well, so it makes sense for Pep to be happy for the guy. He has probably known about Olmo for a while

Very wise choice, RB will make a profit. Wouldn't of been a good for us as we have numerous Attacking Midfielders options both in the first team and EDS.

Was gonna start a thread about Olmo but got redirected here. Admittedly my scouting report only encompasses the Italy SF but he looked perfect for us. Wonder what he’d cost ?

Thought he played well in the semi....rest of the games he looked frustrating as fuck, greedy and ran into defenders constantly, no better or worse than loads of wingers around.

Yes he was excellent and so was Pedri. Not seen enough of him to make a judgement but Spain look like they have some excellent players coming through.

Played like he was possessed by David Silva, his passes just kept unlocking Italy's defence, there's this thing he does where he passes the ball around the defender so an attacker can run across diagonally instead of on a straight line, it's hard to explain but he was brilliant in the game against Italy. The talent is there, no doubt about it, he just needs to apply himself more.

We're being linked to Dani Olmo again. Don't think he would be good for us , eveb though he seems like a 'Pep type of player'. Never been impressed with him

We’ve got loads of players like him but miles better. If we were going for another winger then I’d love to see us unearth someone with some pace and power as a different option
