All 3 out of contract summer of 2026. We should tap them up and tell them to run down their contract and we will sign them for free in 2026.

To be fair, oil does come out of the ground, so technically it is dirty, and it if you sell it, I have no objections to calling it dirty oil money.
I mean honestly, who in here would not wash their hands if they had just handled some dirty oil from the ground.
Common sense really.

Trouble is we bow to Barca and under pep we would never dare try it in with them as Barca is peps true love .

They'll bleat on about history, how it's it's not fair with "state owned clubs" around and ask for all of their debts to be waived by La Liga and UEFA.

The lack of creativity stems from the awful tactics not the need to replace players. Kdb is the best there's ever been, foden is the current premier league player of the year, doku is statistically the second best dribbler in the league, savinho was voted 4th best young footballer on the planet. Bobb isn't far off a return now. Plenty.

Disagree. 1 defender, 1 DM and a player who can play all across the front positions/AM who is a goal threat (unlike our existing options) and can cover for Haaland. Cunha for me would be ideal…

Isn't that player Oscar Bobb? There is plenty of talk about the lack of minutes mcatee has seen so far and that's despite not having kdb available for most of it, Bobb for all of it, foden missing large parts, amongst others. If we get some of those back and available where's the room for another?

I do believe we need a striker, from the second Alvarez was rumoured to be off I was vocal about needing one, i've always said the false 9 isn't viable in this squad but right now theres too many higher priorities and we have to be realistic about what we can do in January, widespread change isn't possible in a month. If txiki does his job and gets us what we need elsewhere, i can only see a forward coming in if we are to offload an attacking player to balance it out. But then who is that going to be? Haaland, kdb, foden, savinho, doku, bobb are all untouchable for one reason or another, there's only really grealish that's expendable but nobody is giving us a fee for him so he's going nowhere either.
