To be fair, Vertonghen was a spuds fan as a kid, he is following his heart, fair play to him, hope he has a great season and spuds finish mid table.
We can pick him up for £15m next season then!

we really have just fucked it all up.
thiago silva, hazard, lavezzi, vertonghen, cazorla, sahin. all players we've just let pass us by. we made an attempt at hazard admit, but he saw better in chelsea.

There's no way we'll pay £27m for him, just move along this deal will probably get done and at terms that suits both parties. Not sure how I feel about the rumour of Johnson being included in the deal atm either

And just because Mancini was in the stands fr one game doesn't necessarily mean he was scouting him. He was at the Brazil match the other day.
As for no one listening to Dax, I'm pretty sure no one on the board is going too take any one's transfer advice from here.
