I dont think he wants to leave liverpool, he is happy there and seems to me he would sign a five year deal there tomorro, cant really blame him the fans are mad about him and he seems to love the club no real reason for him to leave, liverpool were in the fa cup final last year and they are spending a fair amount of money.

At no point have I said nobody wants to leave/everybody wants to join Liverpool. So no idea why you're getting all wound up. I'm talking about one particular player.

You're right, if he doesn't fancy moving on, he should be allowed to stick it out at Liverpool. It's his career.

But by the same token, when we sign (for example) Gareth Barry from under the noses of Liverpool, please spare us all the guff about "he only signed for the money".
