yeh bang on,nobody mentions two right footers,but you dont see 2 left footers in same partnership,but plenty of two right footers

Don't want him - even if he wasn't off to Barca (which he is). I want Rekik to be given a chance. If we want to establish the academy at the same level as Barca then we have to give the promising youngsters a go. Rekik look like an absolute star of the future to me.

So you want to give a 17 year old with hardly any first team experience a shot in a tteam chasing the title and champs league. Not even Barca do that with defenders.

With respect, I've not seen a better 17 year old defender - ever actually.

It does seem to me that left footers tend to be more one footed and less comfortable playing on their wrong side than do right footers. I suppose its because left footed players are less likely to be asked to play on their wrong side when growing up. The more skilful players like AJ can do it, but defenders seem to really struggle.

Correct me if I'm wrong but are you talking about albeano that was on loan at Bristol City? He's 23 so hardly a "great kid".

After VK and Lescott we've not got one CB who's anywhere near the standard or ever will be.

I'm not including Rekik in this as he's about 3 years away from a starting place.

We need a CB then someone who can cover CB if needed.
