Daniel Levy Whinging Hypocrite

It's wat u get wen u start all the wheels in motion I,e.
Sell bale 80.000 000 quid and spunk the lot on a load of shite
That's one bitter muppet right there he has become inverted and I
Couldn't care less haha.

In what parallel universe does someone who rinsed both us and Real Madrid for the best part of £150 million claim prem spending is unsustainable.

Now I'm not saying he is wrong fees have gone stupid just thought it was mega ironic coming from someone who rinses clubs.

He was neither whinging nor being hypocritical. He was being interviewed by the chairman of NASDAQ and didn't mention any other club. He merely gave his honest response when asked for his opinion about the current transfer market. He suggested that a club spending more than it earns is unsustainable in the long term. I don't see what's so wrong about that. He wasn't having a dig at City. It was quite clear that he was referring to the prospect of clubs getting themselves in financial difficulty - not something that City have to concern themselves with. In fact, the focus of Levy's comments on the matter was primarily Spurs, with him being keen to stress that he is only a temporary custodian of the club and that he has a responsibility to hand it over in a healthy state to whoever might succeed him.

Seems to me that you're getting yourself worked up about this for no good reason.

Says the man who is spending well over a £Billion by the time its finished for a huge chunck of concrete and seats.

Considerably less than a billion, actually! But how is that relevant? It's perfectly clear, surely, that Levy was specifically talking about spending on players.

Its relevant because he does nothing but cite the building of the stadium whilst continually saying its got no effect. Bullshit Mr Levy, bullshit.

Your club co signed the letter to try and stop us and its backfired spectacularly.

Hilarious and thanks for Kyle.

Both.

They honestly thought they had stopped us and despite us all laughing our bollox off at them and their fans who lapped it all up, this summer and what we have become and are now doing is just beautiful.

They must all be sat in their boardrooms in absolute shellshock and its no coincidence that in the space of one afternoon we get Mourinho and now Levy moaning about the same thing.

Best yet? Dont even think we are finished pmsl.
What's going to be next, teams shouldn't be allowed to buy to many good players in one window ? I'm only half joking.

they'll find a way, spending caps or some stupid metric.

Fact is we now have to back up with trophy dominance. It's all very well having the cash but if these teams keep competing with us then really it's not much to laugh about.

Prem spending is pretty unsustainable because that TV money is a bubble that will burst at some point.

The only time I get worked up is when the wife is sucking me off. I saw it has having a dig maybe he wasn't but one thing is for sure he's a massive Cnut IMO!

And when it does do you want to be at the top of the pile or the bottom ?

Spurs have been operating on more or less a zero net spend for 6-7 years - long before construction of the stadium started. My guess is that that will continue this summer. So Levy is being perfectly straight when he claims that the stadium will not effect Spurs' transfer spend.

For what it's worth, I'm no fan of FFP and was sorry to see Spurs among those who supported it. But I don't see how the decision has "backfired", exactly. Spurs are no worse off as a consequence.

As to Walker, I'm sorry to see him go. Popular player. Incredible athlete. Has a few weaknesses in his game yet still the best right back in the PL last season. But unfortunately, for whatever reason, he fell out with Poch last season and there was no coming back from that. Good luck to him. He'll get a great reception back at the Lane......err Wembley!

oh we'll be ok, but I don't disagree with Levy that the spending as a whole is unsustainable.

That being said, we've not been top of the pile since 2014 and we need to get back there and this time, stay there for a long time. Our spending, facilities, staff, we should be a different level on the pitch to the rest.

Is he writing Spurs' chances off this season due to playing at Wembley and excusing himself for not wanting to spend big money before a season that they'll struggle in?
