3 years and he'll be playing Championship football.

Unless he goes to Arsenal where Wenger (for he is a manager with some skill) will doubtless turn him into the next Henry. In all seriousness.

Studge has real talent and even more potential and I hope it works out for him.

Sturridge will never be as good as Henry was (or still is for that matter) in a million years. Sturridge is a "good" footballer and that's about it.

But the down side is he's a big headed twat with a bad attitude who's done fuck all tbh and now he wants a mega bucks deal!!!! he's having a fucking laugh.

And he's also so one footed it hurts, which in the Premier League isn't a good thing - defenders will soon sus him out (if they haven't done already!)

I say let him go, he won't be missed.

Sorry, you mean Chelsea's manager next season won't be Hughes, got it.

Who's this clarkie? What did he do?
Yep.

He's a forum legend who made a career out of misreading/misunderstanding people's posts.

If he goes then it will be our/Hughes fault. He will go on to be a full international in the next 3 years and one of the Premier League's top goalscorers. Meanwhile we will have to spend £25m-£30m on another lad who will get us the same amount of goals.

Alot of people, especially in this thread are again going to look like clueless twats because of what they beleive in the papers and all of a sudden calling a young talented player crap because of off the pitch stuff.

It's the Stephen Ireland situation all over again, i still know the ones who were slagging Superman off, i find it funny that most deny it now but you look like stupid dicks, like you will do with Sturridge.

City's loss is another clubs major gain.

I agree Immac, I think the kid will go elsewhere and score 20+ a season if he's starting regularly, but what does the club do, give into his ridiculous wage demands?

IP just out of interest do you have inside access to the player. I dont and I dont believe a word the media says BUT in the times i have seen him play i havent seen anything that would suggest that he is going to become a full international within 3 years but maybe my eye for a footballer isnt as good as yours.

Who says it is about wage demands? it could be like i have heard about playing time which you can understand with Big Phil getting ahead of him and Benjani going on ahead of him on Saturday.

The truth is no one knows what the hold up is whether it's money or playing time, it's a shame that everyone now beleives The Sun and The Mirror for this particular story, which is a shame.

The fans of this club always need a scapegoat no matter how well or shit we are doing. If i was Sturridge and i was reading this i would fuck off from this club and go somewhere else where another clubs fans will appriciate his talents.

If it was upto most people, we would have an eleven full of hard working modest players like Richard Dunne, John O'Shea ect, no big headed egotistic twats like Maradona, Zidane, Ronaldo would stand a chance, the kind of players who will win you stuff with a moment of big headed out of this world madness.

Again, that's just media speculation isn't it?

There was someone on here a while back who was close to Studge and said he will accept less elsewhere than City are offering because he wants to get away from Hughes.

Who knows what to believe though? There's been more spin on this story than a Shane Warne leg break, with the club briefing the papers that he's a greedy twat wanting 60k a week and his friends briefing Bluemoon that it's not about money and all about the manager.

I don't have any access to Sturridge or know anyone who knows him. It's just an instinct i get with players, i was laughed at and ridiculed when i suggested that Ireland would become one of Europe's best 2 years ago and have been proved right.

I have always said i am willing to be proved wrong and if i am with Sturridge then so be it, just got a feeling though that he will go on to become a top class player. He has what no one can teach him, he knows where the goal is. 4 goals and 5 assists for a young lad playing on the left or on his own at times in the equivalent of 10 full games is pretty impressive if you ask me.

I have noticed that you spout such things as though they are irrefutable facts. There is nothing that I have sen that would lead me to say anything like that. He is a young lad that has potential but if he thinks that he can hold this club to ransom then he is a deluded fool like some on this forum
