I'm not doubting his ego, but I thought he fucked off because Leslie preferred a clearly inferior Ched Evens to him. Hughes decision seemed to be largely based on nationality rather than skill.
I think I'd have fucked off too if I lost my place to someone who wasn't fit to lace my boots.
That said I'd rather we didn't sign him. He's too injury prone and mentally fragile.
