After his first season he was what I expected.A tremendous athlete,good on the ball and not too bad with his crossing.
WTF has happened this season ? To be fair I don`t fully blame him solely for the first goal,as Sterling stopped running before the cross.Just watch it again.
I think two full backs will be on the cards for next season.

I have watched it again and again and I agree Sterling was culpable to a degree but he is a winger. Where was the cover? Walker was standining in no mans land

If you remember, Delph kept getting caught out at LB, especially with balls played to the far post which the opponents managers probably picked up on. He was solid last year. No one stays in a slump forever. May have to earn Pep’s trust again though.
 
Danilo had a mare tonight , but he has mitigating circumstances because he played out of position , Walker has no excuse, Pep dropped a bollock tonight , he should have played the in form right back Danilo in his correct position and Delph on the left , who has proved last season he is a more reliable option , hindsight is a wonderful thing.
 
He’s never been comfortable at left back. It shows. Why pep persists with him there is beyond me. He’s much better right back than walker right now. Playing him left and walker right handicaps both our full back positions. Crazy.
 
Looks good and on current form, our best right back, terrible at left back every time I’ve seen him play there.
 
He isn’t a left back that’s for certain, he is unable to kick accurately or with the necessary power with his left foot. He should be played at right back. He is a good footballer in my opinion and I like the way he is always looking to attack
 
He isn't a LB and Pep should stop playing him there. Won't judge him when playing on his weak side

However, when he's playing RB, he the best fullback at the club currently as Walker seems to have forgotten the basics of defending (another mistake playing everyone one yesterday while looking down the line), Mendy (who although is great when attacking , is suspect defensively + is never even on the pitch) and Delph (who isn't a FB)

If/when Mendy is back, would like him to have a run at RB. A champions league winner and probably the one player who's faced the sternest tests in the CL is always of value

Thought he played well especially in the second half.

He has far more in his locker attacking wise and always looks like scoring unlike Walker who never does.

Took a very nice shot in the bottom right corner with his left foot and was involved in several attacks.

Would be nice to see him start against Schalke.

I like Danilo, but trust Walker much more on defense even given Walker's poor form as of late.

Defensively yes but right now Walker in possession is making at least 1 big mistake per game, sometimes they led to goals and sometimes not.

I put it down to concentration, he needs to improve it.
