If he refuses to sign a new contract then fuck him off.The problem i have is that potentially he has it all to be a top player.If he goes to Villa then i can see him going through the roof.

£10 million for him alone i think,judging by his potential.

Ive said it time and time again on here that Sturridge is a special player, he can goto the very top!

Why we are offering £100k per week contracts to aging players who have achieved fuck all in the game yet wont look after Sturridge us beyond me. I was fuming when Johnson somehow managed to wangle himself a bumper new deal despite having only a handful of decent games but Sturridge should definitely be given what he wants because if we let him go we will regret it for years to come!

I agree we should make a real effort to keep the kid, his potential is frightening

He's not as good as he thinks he is.

Put a bit of meat on him, shave his head, and give him some buck teeth and call him the real Ronaldo. That is potentially how good i think this lad could be, seriously for a 19 years old he out of this world.

More people quite willing to slag off our players on the basis of rumour and absolve the club of any responsibility for signing him up.

Whether it is contracts, training or generl attitude, the amount of people so eager to buy into "this player is a twat" stories this season is a disgrace.
