Not done anything like that, I'm going to start again tomorrow with a new character and see if I can get further that way.

I freaking love this game. Currently on my 2nd playthrough, level 132, I started off as a warrior but my stats are so high that I can use most weapons/spells/magic stuff. well once you are through the game you can transfer (with the help of a friend) all your super awesome armor and weapons down to a starter character and go terrorize new players.........

I thought that but this guy reckoned he'd cheated, he was suspiciously hard as the guys who were helping me out were much better than the in game opponents and this guy took them out without any hassle.

He could've just been a stupidly high level?

Playing this a few days back and died. I then turned off the Xbox and sat in silence for ages just contemplating the utter futility of everything. Then I turned it back on.

Reminds me of a game called Soul Reaver(Legacy of Kain) i used to play in 2000 on PS1. Graphics at the time were amazing and it was a challenging game that had many levels. Not played on PS3 for a while but this looks the sort of game that would interest me.

I've got this game and boy is it hard :( I played it for a couple of hours when I first got it and just kept f**ing getting killed turned it off never played again. May have to get it out and give it another chance. Has their always been an online mode? could of swore me and my mate were talking about playing it together to find out their wasn't.

There is an online mode but it's not the most user friendly. You can get it so you summon a mate but from my own limited experience it's much easier to summer a random player than it is a specific person. Hopefully someone will correct me.

As far as I am aware there it is completely random who you can summon/be invaded by, which makes is tough to co-ordinate/compete with a friend. But randoms, for the most part, are experienced players who will help you out against the bosses.

Don't summon the NPC Solaire though, he's bloody useless and summoning him increases the bosses HP. Jolly co-operation indeed!

Anyway, back to those catacombs...
