Dark Souls

I've played demon souls and was told when I bought my copy that it was a tough cookie. Never completed it but enjoyed my time playing it. Always liked these sort of games and one of my favourite games was "severance", which must be at least 15 years ago. "Thief" was another great game and of course oblivion.

Working unsociable hours gives me plenty of slashing time alone.

Has anyone else played Severance?

Just got that beast of a sword from the dragon on thd bridge. Also just got a good axe from the 2 dragons on the roof both by hitting its tail. Can't believe how hard the game is I die every 2 mins LMFAO.

It's all about patience! There's a great Divine Longsword near the undead dragon in The Valley of Drakes.

Killed The Great Wolf and now I'm in New Londo backstabbing Dark Wraiths like a bad ass. Where's everyone else upto?

Severance has got to be 15 years old, but was a big big step up for the genre. I don't think there was anything quite like its graphics

You can cut the tail off of every dragon boss in the game to get a decent unique weapon. Won't spoil it by naming them.

Interesting to see how dark soul 2 will be on the next gen consoles.

Same applies to the witcher 3 and the next elder scrolls instalment.

These games are already immensely impressive so i am eager to see how they would take it to the next level.
