I'm currently trying to get past the Bed of Chaos monstrosity. On my first playthrough it only took me one go, this time I'm on my 10th try, for some reason I just can't seem to land on that root. Aaaarrrggghh!

Right, just fought Gwyn and died in 3-4 attacks. Going to improve my Black Knight set so his fire damage doesn't kick my arse. Then the old sod is mine!

took me ages aswell, though i didnt get stuck on the root! it goes to the right if i remember correctly, so drop off the right

FINALLY IT IS DONE!!!

Intense hell from start to finish and I loved it!

I'm really considering getting it? Are there any towns/communities/npc's like there are in all other rpg's because as far as i can tell there are none.

There are NPCs and side quests but they are subtly presented to you. You can kill all the NPCs in the game, but bear in mind that decision is permanent as it auto saves. So you can permanently remove trainers and blacksmiths from the game of you're not careful!

It is essentially a dungeon crawler with great combat and epic boss battles. All of the weapons have a unique style, so it can be fun trying them out to see whic fits you best. It is tough, but this makes it all the more rewarding.

I couldn't recommend it higher.

dont go in the catacombs, i just got stuck in there with my level 40 sorcerer with no divine weapon. fucking hate the catacombs!!! most frustrating part of the game for me....

This is on a par with Battlefield 3 as my favourite games on the current gen consoles. Just a brilliant brilliant game! Still stuck on Bed of Chaos though.

Not done any of the DLC bits yet, didn't kill the Stray Demon or venture into the Painted World either. Going to run through New Game+ though to claim those heads! How do you get to the DLC section?

have to get a broken pendant from a golen in dukes archives and speak to the woman after u kil the hydra.....llol look it up
