Ok, so what makes Fletcher anything more than a tall energetic tough tackling midfielder?
He had 0 assists in 26 league games last season, hardly the sign of a great passer. He scored 3 goals, pretty mediocre amount considering how much posession United have and how many balls they put into the box. And don't tell me Fergie plays him in the big games so he must be, also remember he plays Park in the big games.
I'm not saying hes shit, not saying hes any worse than De Jong, I just want you to tell me where this idea he can play football comes from.

And your point is what? De Jong has a small amount of assists I bet, and no goals? And he's not a mediocre passer at all, Fergie plays him in big games, and they win alot of those big games? You're suggesting that United play big games and just have 4 shithouses on the pitch and they somehow have still the won title 3 years on the trot?
