I suppose we'll be saying that Bellamy is better than Rooney, Adebayor is better than Berbatov, Onouoha is better than Ferdinand and Bridge is better than Evra as well?

You all slag Darren Fletcher off but he's a very good midfielder, he'd get into most Premiership sides as a squad player. Because he wears the red of United though, he's automatically "shite". If he was playing at City you'd all be wanking over him.

Fletcher is more than just this shit workhorse you make him out to be, he's a player, that breaks up attacks, hassles opponents, wins the ball, can pass well, and knows where the goal is on occasion too. So you admit De Jong IS better? No, De Jong doesn't go forward, so therefore in my opinion. I'll change my mind when De Jong scores a goal, or ever has a shot worth talking about. And before you say 'its not his job to score goals, he's a protector' - he plays central midfield, and when I grew up a midfielder was the player who had to be able to defend and get forward. I refer back to my original post - he marked our great Stephen Ireland out of the game for the past 3 derby games. Since old Keano fucked off, they've struggled to find someone to who gives them that bite and energy in midfield, but with Fletcher they have found it. And three Premier League titles in a row, 2 CL finals in a row and a Carling Cup says that its not been too bad for him. But obviously not as good as what some of our lads have done?!
