He`s a decent hard working player, typical water carrier but has improved greatly over the last year or so.

The guy offers nothing going forward, just looked on the PL assists thing for last season and I couldn't spot a single assist in 26 league games, he scored 3 goals and I wouldn't mind betting that 2 of those were with his head. For a team like United that gets so much possesion a quality midfielder would be assisting atleast 1 every 5 games or so.

His work rate/fitness is second to none I'll admit, hes also very good at being tall. He is no better than Michael Brown, only difference is he can get away with his fouls. To be fair to him as a limited football he has found a very effective role in a successful team, fair play to him.

Midfield dosen't make the whole team, but our midfield is alot better than theirs. They have a better defence and a better attack, but it dosen't mean we won't be there soon.
Regardless, Fletcher is shit. I'd rather De Jong in my team ANY DAY. Have you even seen his crunching trackles? The guy's only good thing about him is that he's tall. That's it.
