Don't like the lad for several reasons, but there's no doubt he's transformed himself from a bit of a laughing stock amongst his own club's support to one of their most vital players.

Every team needs a spoiler, a ratter, a kicker. There aren't many better than him at that now.

People who call Darren Fletcher 'pointless' and don't think he's a good player are either unbelievably biased because of their hatred of the rags, or don't know a lot about football.
