Fletcher is a good but not great player. The fact that he is now so crucial to the rags shows that they are in decline IMO, previously he wouldn't have been missed that much.

As much as i seem to hate the twat more and more each time i see him play, the boy is good. no nonsense midfielder who's not scared of a tackle can head and pass the ball well. prefer him to barry on current form. and that kills me to say!!

Correct, so long as he gets away with it he's effective. Wouldn't get into any of the rag's best teams of recent & past though. His current status there is a fair indication of their gradual decline.

IMO Fletcher is one of the most improved players in English football over the last 2-3 years, like a few have said on here, he ran the show in the last 2 derbys. The guy is hard as fuck, knows how tackle, has got a decent pass & pops up with a few goals a season.
I can see him progressing into the next Keane.
That said he is still a rag twat & I fuckin hate his guts!
