Darts World Championship

I'm going for the quarters on the 29th, cant wait. I've been lucky with the draw if things go to plan I'll see Taylor, Anderson, King and Whitlock. Whitlock is my outside bet.
 
Love the darts as well, except its on at daft o'clock down here (just like the football then).

It's all about Paul Nicholson for mine, but I have time for Wade, Whitlock, and Vincent van der Voort (VAN DER VOORT, VIIIIINCENT VAN DER VOORT!)
 
think wayne jones could slip under the radar here, just needs to keep his nerve.

high scorer and very good at the buisness end but taylor wants this badly..........

going to be another cracker of a tournament.
 
Nicholson too busy being a pantomime villain - knocked out in the Quarters by Taylor.

Just had a run through the draw and based on my limited knowledge and very poor psychic ability I've got it down as:

Semi (1) = Taylor vs Beaton
Semi (2) = Lewis vs Painter

Final = Taylor vs Painter

Champion = Painter
Score = 13-9


Eeeeep!

What price on that little lot??
 
Cant see Taylor or Painter winning it. If it came to them 2, the way Taylor ups his game in these finals i would be surprised if painter could hold a 3 dart average with him
 
Gut feel mate. Had a gut feel about Painter for about three years (maybe I should leave kebabs alone?) that he'd be world champ and he's come into form at bang on the right time. It'll be tough for him, but I reckon he might just nick it.

Just a shame everytime I see him he puts me in mind of that horrible blonde cockney trout off Eastenders/bad girls/anything requiring a professional southern brassy tart.
 
Amazing player though isn't he. They reckon it's that court case that cost him the BBC Sports Personality award and other honours. Was it eventually thrown out (if you excuse the pun)?
