The CFA is already a profit centre, but the fact these lads get an education, a chance to learn from the best in a world class facility & set-up, and the opportunity to play at the top level is a win-win-win for them, even if they are sold on to finish out their careers elsewhere.

Issue is, where are the quality young strikers in Europe atm? Nunez is miles off being ready let alone if he can ever be good enough. Haaland is going to be wanted by everyone and Lautaro and Mbappe will sign new deals. There's a real real shortage of promising young strikers and Jesus is probably one of the finest of his age group which is worrying.

Oh, didn't hear about, that's definitely good news! I feel, especially with the shortage of top striker available, signing Haaland would genuinely be such a huge statement signing to the rest of Europe. Hopefully he follows in his father's footsteps haha.

I stopped following Benfica closely for him since I now completely rule out him for this summer and their team is a disgrace now - sorry Nico. Was talking to a Benfica fan last week who showed me an interview with Nunez’s agent in December or early January in which he says the player is focused in Benfica and wants to stay there for the next two years at least
