But they wont sell him. Have to be realistic. Alaba is much better than Zinchenko. Not exactly problem to sell Zinchenko to get Alaba. No brainer.

I agree on Davies but he just signed a new Bayern deal till 2025. He's going nowhere. Alaba is the sort of signing we need. Defensively sound.

Getting Alaba from Bayern is one thing that will make it easy to digest this Sane saga. Going into his prime, one of those players which Pep loves because of their technical abilities to play in different positions. It makes sense for Bayern also to sell him now as they have an excess of left backs. May also make up for the fact how they treated us like tits last two years. Alaba wanting to come to City is another issue. Maybe some phone calls from Pep may work.

I don't LB who has year left on his deal is worth £50m. £30m, £40m max. So Alaba and Bayern paying extra £10-£20m would be about right.
