I agree, met him in The Midland many years ago, thoroughly nice man to chat too, and had a major input in saving our club.

Does anyone know if he still come to games ?

Awarded a CBE in the New Year's honours list. He steadied the ship when we were in deep shit and oversaw us getting out of the real 3rd division and back into the PL. Well done David.

When the history of our great club is written, he should be recogined as one of the most important people.

He came into our club when we were at our lowest ebb. Without him we would not be where we are today.

Don't agree with the Honours system but I understand others do.
