Michael Foot, when an ordinary Member of Parliament, had regular meetings for nearly 20 years with KGB officers and took money from them - honest and integrity my arse.

You are going to of course supply proof of this in due course im sure.

Im sure you know from your study of Marx that he thought socialism was the biggest danger to Communism

I dont expect you understand that mind

Just been reading up on Dennis Healey . The great mans 97 now . He was deputy leader of the Labour Party between 1980 and 1983 . He was also born just down the road from me in Keighley . A politician who never minced his words .

That Labour leader Millipede seems like a right bellend
I was listening to him this morning and he was poor .
The worst Labour leader since Micheal Foot .
Carmeron got it easy with Milliband being a soggy leader

Micheal Foot was a magnificent orator.

His speech against Churchills oppression of the free press during WW2 is simply stunning.

Its also very suprsising if you revisit Foots manifesto of 1983 how many of ideas are now accepted as mainstream.

Foot suffered at the hands of a rabid wing press that told the world he wore a "donkey jacket" at the Cenotaph and such fucking lies and his ratings suffered as a result.

Foot was a man of inate honesty and integrity and one capable of quite brilliant political thought.

Michael Foot was a communist who was on the payroll of the kremlin.
He betrayed his country. He betrayed his party. He betrayed himself.

MP in East Leeds, there is a Dennis Healey centre just down the road from where my mate lived in Seacroft - what a terribly deprived part of England that was, a huge council estate left to die by the Tories, and now improved beyond recognition by the last labour government, but you don't often hear praise for that part of history.

He also had fantastic eyebrows.

Foot was an incredibly well-read, intelligent man; capable of superb debate, wit and counter-argument. But, and it's a huge caveat, he wouldn't kow-tow to the new conformist model.

Just like anybody who was/is perceived as a threat to the status quo/the establishment, he had to be vilified, stigmatised and ran through the political wringer. Alas, it was the beginning of the television age, when image suddenly took front stage - Foot was never going to don a "sharp" suit, attire himself in anything but what he considered "normal" ie those glasses, that jacket. The press did what the press now always do - focused on the inane, the unimportant - image. And it cost him. Think of the great heavyweights of the sixties and seventies: Heath, Wilson, Thorpe, Callaghan et al. Wilson, in particular, never out of tobacco, permanently pipe in mouth. That would never happen now.

Cameron/Clegg/Miliband - like a sick game of Animal Farm - the pigs are human, the humans are pigs. But, as you survey your average punter in the street, ask them about politicians, politics and policy, well, you get what you deserve. And we, as apathetic as it's possible to be, we deserve a PM who shells out 90 nicker for a haircut. Even sadder, there'd be greater uproar and debate about this than any of the fucking abhorrent policies the **** supports.

Ask yourself, who won the second world war against the Fascist. Answer The Russians. Ask yourself, who doesn't believe in Nationalism, ie your country(or is it?), the true traitors, the Capitalist.
Betrayal mate, you don't understand the meaning of the word !

The "Michael Foot Was a Paid Up Kremlin Spy" theme seems to have gone cold.

Come on RWNJs - where is the evidence?

Best laugh I've had all year.
Deary, deary me.

I reckon the Tories will win the next election .
This Scottish referendum will boost Cameron even more .
I just wish Labour had picked the other brother instead of soggy Milliband .
The unions made a massive mistake electing Ed Milliband .
