David Coote | Charged with making indecent video of a child (p57)

Did they have any beef with Coote's integrity when he flat out refused to send off James Milner in the game v City?

There is no set of fans in the world that would tolerate that being said by a ref about their former manager and team. the reaction would be the same. I know us hammers fans would explode in the faux rage especially.

To be fair, we’d probablybe the fanbase most accepting had Coote said it about Pep, given we’ve won 6 out of 7 league titles.

Lahoz less so…

That doesn’t mean that the ref threads on here wouldn't blow up with conspiracy theories though!

More than a couple of ex-City managers I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if a ref came out and called them a bit of a c*nt. ;-)

Good old LFC loving BBC.

Putting out the idea out that a referee taking a dislike to a manager means theres a conspiracy against their beloved club.
One of the two unwritten law's of UK journalism.

1. Never gob off about Scousers, no matter how true it might be.
2. Don't get caught tapping people's phones.

Colin Mafham likes this post.
Indeed. I was thinking of Colin when I posted but couldn't recall his surname. Unlike their 1965 FIRST FA Cup triumph. Remind me what year City first won it. 1904? And those scallies say we have no 'istree la. Well we've never caused the death of innocent people, or publicly shamed ourselves in the (* was it Trevi Fountain....). Eternal lying shysters they are imo.

Would you be fine if a Ref told the same about Guardiola and you turn around a couple years backlog to find contentious decisions against Man City?
Would you accept it?

Ha ha you whopper we had Lahoz who hated Pep and City so much he did his talking on the pitch not in some drug fuelled state on video.

Nothing really to see here. Refs hate certain players and managers. They get abused all game by players, fans and management. Most refs would say the same things in their private time.

The only negative thought I have is him talking into a camera revealing it, and his "mate" somehow "releasing" it. Absolute scumbag.

Cue some finger pointing and conspiracy theories to come from that Welsh/Irish/Scottish/English, sorry Scouse camp.

Admittedly only really brushed over this, but isn‘t it much ado about nothing? He didn‘t publicly insult Klopp (unless he posted the clip?). And him thinking Klopp is a **** doesn‘t actually say anything revelatory about any decisions he‘s been involved in.
Poor judgment no doubt in allowing himself to be filmed. But not sure that‘s grounds for any kind of sanction.

We ALREADY accept it. We dont fkin cry about it like lfc do (about everything).

If you want a good example, compare the coverage and fallout of these - Salah arm torn off by Ramos, and De Bryune having his cheekbone broken by Rudiger. Both finals, both cost CL trophy.

City just get on with things. Liverpool lose everything because they blame everyone else instead of looking at themselves./
