David Coote

I’m not particularly happy letting any of them ref City matches but I wouldn’t shit my pants and turn into a middle aged Karen if he had such a view on Pep.

They’re only words mate. Words.

Agreed, but many especially on social media would be in complete meltdown for all club.

I wouldn’t be that arsed either but wouldn’t expect the ref to officiate again for our matches based on them words.

People on social media need to stop being upset about words then.

He’s formed an opinion Klopp is a ****. He’s not wrong is he?

There’ll be refs, players, pundits who think Pep’s a ****. So what?

No one has the divine right to have everyone think positively of them.

Show me the definitive still of it touching Rodri’s arm below his sleeve.
Just accept it that the integrity of the game is at question here. It was a definite penalty. Frank Lampards interview about his 3 year old kid would have whistled for that penalty.
I am definitely a doubter now. Chris K was in the VAR panel. Doubts galore.
If Everton scored that penalty, then both Liverpool and Man City were tied on 63 points each after 27 games. Liverpool lost that league by a single point.

Why though? How have they become some sort of protected club and fanbase? Their famous history they love so much is littered with violence, disorder and criminality. From robbing all over Europe, causing injury and deaths in Heysel to smashing up team buses, attacking an ambulance taking a seriously injured player to hospital and getting English clubs banned from Europe for five years they are a disgrace.
I know. I simply don't get it. When I was about 5 they won the FA Cup for the first time. As a young girl, zero interest in footy, but I remember it being on the news. Not an imagined memory, I still know exactly where I was. At the time The Beatles, Merseybeat, Ken Dodd, Tarby, Kenny Lynch et al were all famous cheeky chappy loveable Scousers. Like the entire country was enthralled to Liverpool - the City. I think some of that lay the foundations, they had a good team late 70s to mid 80s and the fact they were virtually fireproof after their part in the atrocity at Heysel, particularly since they refused to acknowledge their part and nothing is ever referenced about English teams being banned from Europe because of them. The mystique has built up around them going back decades and think this is why, when Sheffield happened made them untouchable. Its not right, just the way it is.

Coote was spot on with his assessment of Klopp.

Would you be fine if a Ref told the same about Guardiola and you turn around a couple years backlog to find contentious decisions against Man City?
Would you accept it?

It is always the same when somebody starts to ask questions at PGMOL, They throw somebody under the bus,
100% bent to the core and it's so clear what goes on that you start to question yourself in what you are watching.

So by throwing Coote under the bus will not change one bit, Somebody else on the ladder will rise and take his place
Yes Coote overstepped the mark, but he was clearly setup because I think he got greedy or stepped on somebody's foot higher up the chain.

This is priceless.
According to the Times the referee David Coote could face an extra aggravated misconduct charge by the FA for referring to Jürgen Klopp as a “German ****", because references to a person’s nationality can lead to stiffer sanctions...
