Coote also said he likes James Milner , anyone remember the game at Anfield where Milner hauled Foden back when he was through on goal and only got a yellow , Milner then proceeded to kick anything that moved with impunity for the rest of the game, until a particularly blatant trip on Bernardo Silva caused Klopp to haul him off , not sure if that was Coote refereeing that game but Milner got away with about 4 yellows that day , and to rub salt in it , he got the assist for Salahs goal , although no dipper will remember any of that happening , as like the Trent handball, the dodgy champions league offsides , the Lovren ankle breaker on Aguero etc , it will have been erased from their collective memory.

Just accept it that the integrity of the game is at question here. It was a definite penalty. Frank Lampards interview about his 3 year old kid would have whistled for that penalty.
I am definitely a doubter now. Chris K was in the VAR panel. Doubts galore.
If Everton scored that penalty, then both Liverpool and Man City were tied on 63 points each after 27 games. Liverpool lost that league by a single point.

The referee didn’t see a handball and VAR couldn’t convince him otherwise. Added to that, there was an offside in the build up.

Best team with best record. Who'd a thunk it? Liverpool may well have their best win percentage with Coote.

I am sure the Liverpool fans will not milk this controversy and refer to it for many years.
