Not keen on Center halves playing Full Back, he's right footed too isn't he?

Seems strange when he won Player of the Season last year at CB
 
To me bobby manc loves his players to be versatile and if you see it almost all of the players on our team are versatile so i would understand why he would be willing to bring him here.

But i think he is going to play alongside vincent with boateng and richards as full backs.
 
But does Richards fit with the rest of these players? Isn't it supposed to be 7 great defenders to prevent any of them from getting pissed off at the lack of playing time? So is the solution to get rid of Bridge or Richards? With Luiz, Kompany, Lescott, Toure, Boateng and a new LB, maybe Nedum can stay as RB backup? He's a footballer at least, unlike Richards.

Came into Benfica as a CB but some are saying he played most of last season as LB - I have no idea about the player!

And I don't think Boateng looked amazing at LB - pretty solid though, got away with a few fouls though - maybe we just need lucky defenders!

sorry fella, not a chance. This has been covered elsehwere but Richards needs to up his game significantly and I cant see him starting many next season, not here anyway

Around page 15 or so a Portuguese fan came on and praised him.

He runs like the wind and makes smaller forwards look clumsy. Were he to come here, may be the fastest player on the team.
